Strengthening Dutch Trade and Investments and Economic Diplomacy
Over the past three days (March 3-5), the Academy for International Relations together with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO)) had the pleasure of hosting three dynamic and insightful Trade and Investment Promotion training days in The Hague.

The strengthening of ties
This program brought together trade officers from missions worldwide, fostering valuable exchanges of knowledge and best practices in supporting Dutch businesses abroad. A key highlight of this training was the strengthening of ties between our missions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague, and RVO. By working closely together, we enhance our ability to support Dutch companies in their international ventures and contribute to a strong global trade network.

Company visits
Looking ahead, we are excited about the next phase of the program - the company visits next week! These 2-5 day placements at small and medium enterprises will provide participants with a hands-on understanding of the opportunities and challenges Dutch businesses face, while also allowing them to offer on-the-floor advice to the companies based on their knowledge of their home markets. To all participants: thank you for your engagement and contributions. We look forward to hearing about your experiences in the field!
