As the end of the year approaches, it is important to take a step back from work and make time for the people who are dear to us: family, friends and loved ones. This moment also gives us the opportunity to reflect on the past year. It has been an intense and eventful year, both at home and abroad, which has also had an impact on our work and may have affected us personally.

Mile stones in 2025
We look back on developments over the past year. For example, the Academy for International Relations celebrated its tenth anniversary last September. And we made a new start. As of 1 September, the teams from the Academy and DARE TOO have joined forces to form the Learning and Development (L&D) department.
We would like to thank our partners and our participants
The task at hand requires tough choices in terms of our learning, development and change management offerings for 2026 and beyond. Together, we are looking ahead to see how we can strengthen our learning offerings so that all central government colleagues in international positions are prepared for the future, worldwide.
We cannot and will not do this alone. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners, both internal and external, for their expertise and excellent cooperation.
