Alma Ibrahimovic

As a senior advisor, I develop learning activities that contribute to the ministry of Foreign Affairs’ development objectives. Together with colleagues, I organise lectures on current affairs and their policy implications. I work closely with the Strategic Policy Unit (ESA) to link strategic initiatives to appropriate learning activities, such as the Strategic Forecasting trainings. With the Locally Employed Staff Council (LESC), I align our learning offer with the needs of staff at our missions abroad.

In addition, the Academy cooperates with foreign MFA academies and the academy of the European External Action Service (EEAS) to jointly prepare diplomats for the modern international arena. I participate in European and bilateral programmes, including the European Diplomatic Programme (EDP) and the Joint Diplomatic Programme (JDP) with the United Kingdom.
